Diierent Frameworks for Unstructred Cfd Related Adaptive Application

چکیده

The purpose of this paper is to survey the di erent issues regarding runtime load balancing for CFD related application. Di erent execution framework for parallel CFD application is possible. They di er by load balancing algorithm usage. Iterative static graph partition is one solution of this problem. Other solution is to do dynamic load balancing by data migration during runtime as initial mapping using graph partition is no longer su cient in adaptive application. Di erent scheduling techniques are discussed. These techniques can be used as a load balancing for data in CFD application. Fractiling is one of the existing load balancing method that uses scheduling technique (factoring) at the same time exploits data locality.
